Is the founder and visionary of Sand Path Yoga, LLC; a dynamic yoga model designed to support personalized goals for yoga attainment.
Sand Path Yoga is a metaphor for treading the path of impermanence with directional intention. A concept and philosophy that invites an aspirant to engage yoga, as guided, from deep within.
Andrea brings years of experience and skill to her practice as a mother and yogini. She has completed a two hundred hour yoga teacher training through Sarva Purnam International Yoga Society (SPIYS) and is especially passionate about supporting people beyond yoga asana, into the mystical workings underlying mundane living.
Her yoga philosophy and world view stem from meaningful connections, and realizations experienced within both the Tibetan and Hindu communities. She practices an integrated approach to yoga and particularly enjoys Hatha yoga, more specifically Bhakti and Raja Yoga.
With a prior career in Social Work, Andrea has spent countless hours with people from all walks of life, cultures and countries. She moved to Hawaii in 2019, where she worked in the non-profit sector. Here, she experienced kinship from the community, receiving training from cultural practitioners on maintaining oneself Pono and caring for the Aina. The wisdom shared was loving and impactful.
Today, Andrea guides mindfulness and yoga practices. She is a Ceremonial Cacao Facilitator, and ambassador for World of Cacao. She uses cacao and other wisdom traditions to facilitate heart opening journeys and wellness. Her touch points and friendships in the Incan Shaman community, helped lay a foundation for connecting to the magical offering of Cacao.
